I photograph people, places and things, and sometimes pretend I can paint. I was born and raised in Waterloo, but spent some time living in Italy where my love of the arts flourished. I strive to bring creativity to everyday life.
As a photographer, I aim to capture moments that can't be expressed solely through words. Through my years of experience, I have developed my own style when it comes to photographing people, places and scenes that speak to me. I go wherever the light goes.
When photographing weddings or events, I take a photojournalistic approach, with a twist. I am loosely concerned with posing or perfection, instead focussing mainly on capturing true genuine moments filled with a natural aesthetic. I use light to my advantage to create new images. I have worked both in digital and analog, and enjoy developing my own images.
I'm happiest when I'm creating. I regularly get by with minimal sleep and loads of caffeine. I'm definitely a night owl, and I've developed a love for adventure. Italy is my favourite place on earth, mostly because of the pizza, but also because of the pasta. Oh and all of the art, and scenery, too.
